AGM NOTICE
On 21st November we will be holding our AGM for 2024.  It will be a free dance night for all.  The lesson and dancing will continue as usual with the AGM taking place during the evening.  The AGM usually takes around 20 minutes to complete.  So we hope you will join us for this important evening.

BLACK AND WHITE SOCIAL - 9th November
7pm to 10.30pm MC Robert Parr.  Please bring supper to share and if you feel like it get into the Black and White  theme!  If you have the time come at 6pm to help set up the hall.  See you to dance the night away on Saturday.

CHRISTMAS DANCE 14TH DECEMBER
We invite all members and friends to come along to our Christmas Dance for 2024.  It will be a catered supper and so we need you to book your place.  There will be NO TICKETS at the door, so book your place now.  You can email cotdcweb@gmail.com to book, or put your name down on the list at the door on Club nights and Social nights.   Please BYO drinks, however tea/coffee and supper will be supplied.

NEW YEARS EVE DANCE
This year we are combining with The Belconnen Seniors Dance group for the NYE Dance.  The event will be held at the Belconnen Centre at 24 Chandler St.  Please contact the centre to book your place.

FINAL DANCE 2024 AND RESTART IN 2025
Our final Thursday club night will be 12th December.
Our final Social Saturday will be the 14th December and is a booked event.
Our return to dancing in 2025 will be Thursday February 6th.

MEMBERSHIPS ARE DUE
If you haven't joined yet now is the time.  Memberships are due and mean you can take part in our wonderful club nights each week, where you get a lesson and 2 1/2 hours of dancing, 2 social dances each month and so much more.  So join us for $15 and save money at every function.  You are also in the running for our Members draw each Thursday where you can win $$$$! Come in on Thursdays and see our membership Secretary Danielle to join our wonderful Club.

DANCE LESSONS
The end of the year is approaching fast.  We plan to teach every Thursday until the 12th of December.  You can get a full list of the classes coming up on our Website https://cotdcweb.wixsite.com/social-sequence-danc
Diane plans to continue to volunteer her teaching in 2025.  So we hope you will join us each Thursday to learn or review lots of dances.

2025 BALL
We are of course planning our 45th Ball weekend.  The weekend has become a popular 4 day Dance extravaganza on the dance calendar.  The dates for 2025 are on the King's Birthday long weekend 5th to the 8th of June.  Keep an eye out for the release of tickets to this much sort after event.  Members will be able to purchase their packages before the general release to the dance community. More information will come soon.
